The IC687BEM713 module is a GE Fanuc Rx7i series bus expansion module. More specifically, the IC687BEM713 module is a bus transmitter module, which is an essential component in a redundant GE Fanuc FIP system. A complete GE FIP redundant system consists of two bus transmitter modules, such as the IC687BEM713 bus transmitter module. These modules are installed in the system's dual backplane redundant rack. The IC687BEM713 bus transmitter module requires only 1 VME slot to install. In addition, the module can be easily configured into a PLC system using software, and no DIP switches need to be set up.
