The GE Fanuc/VMIC VMIVME-4199 Analog Isolation Amplifier board is a 16-channel analog isolation amplifier board designed specifically for VMEbus applications. The VMIVME-4199 provides current isolation between analog input and output. All inputs are differential inputs. Except for the power supply, the board is self-contained and completely independent of the VME control bus.
Each channel can be individually programmed with a single resistor to obtain voltage gains from x1 to x100. Unused inputs and outputs can be disconnected to further optimize the overall isolation characteristics. The input can be configured to invert or no phase.
The VMIVME-4199 board is an important part of systems where the potential difference between the ground loop or signal return must be eliminated beyond the 20 to 30 V isolation limit of conventional analog boards.
