The XVME-976/204 is a PC expansion board designed for use with Xycom's VMEbus system.

The Acromag/Xembedded/Xycom XVME-976 adapter module provides I/O extensions for Xycom's XVME-654, XVME-655, XVME-689, and XVME-690 VMEbus PC/AT processor modules.

• Available for all XycomVME processors. 

• Fits into any standard 6U VMEbus card cage 

adjacent to the processor module. 

• Carrier occupies only one VMEbus slot. 

• One PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC) expansion 

site and one PC-104 expansion site (XVME976/1 and XVME-976/210 )

• Two PC-104 expansion sites (XVME976/104 and XVME-976/204) 

• Two PMC expansion sites (XVME-976/203) 

• Expands the functionality of the XycomVME processor family

It can be directly connected to XVME-654. The connection to XVME-655 requires a transition board, such as the XVME-978/1 Ethernet card or the XVME-978/100 transition module, which plugs into XVME-655 and provides both mechanical and electrical connections to XVME-976. These products leverage ISA or PCI bus signals from PC processors and allow users to scale their I/O systems with industry-standard PMC, PC/104, 3/4 length ISA or PCI cards.
