Two 24-bit timers
The Xycom XVME-200 / XVME-201 / XVME-290 digital I/O module is a cost-effective digital I/O module. XVME-200 and XVME-201 are single-height VMEbus compatible digital I/O modules. The XVME-200 offers a VMEbus system with 32 TTL-level I/O channels, as well as two 24-bit timer devices. XVME-201 provides 48 channels.
The XVME-200 contains two 68230 parallel interface/timer (PI/T) devices with VMEbus interrupt functionality. The direction of the I/O signal from the PI/T device can be selected by software for four independent 8-bit ports. All inputs and outputs of XVME-200 are buffered. The pin arrangement of the front panel connector is compatible with OPTO Type 22 signal conditioning equipment.
For applications that do not allow I/O to be routed out of the front panel, the XVME-290 offers the same 6U form factor as the XVME-200, and I/O is routed through the VMEbus P2 connector on the back of the board.
