The XVME-542 analog input/Output module is A powerful VMEbus compatible I/O module that performs 16-bit A/D and 12-bit D/A conversions. XVME-542 contains 64 single-ended, 32 differential, or 64 pseudo-differential analog input channels. The input channels can be programmed to operate in one of five operating modes: random channels, sequential channels, single channels, externally triggered, or automatic scanning. Automatic scanning can be performed on 8, 16, 32, or 64 channels. The individual channel gain can be software programmed in one of three jumper selection ranges. XVME-542 also contains eight analog output channels. These output channels can be configured for voltage or current output. Supports transparent and synchronous channel update modes. The XVME-542 is pin-compatible with the XVME-540 analog input/output module, while providing higher resolution, speed, and channel count.
