Schneider Electric Modicon Quantum PAC Series - Large PACs for process applications and high availability solutions:

Modicon Quantum™ PAC is our high-end full-featured PLC designed for high I/O number industrial applications that require high performance, such as pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, food and beverage, automotive, and more. Quinten also offers a true bump-free hot standby. The Quinten processor can be programmed using Unity Pro software and can also support the old 984 Ladder logic program in the LL984 Unity Pro Editor by simply importing legacy applications. The Quinten platform also supports Concept ™ applications and ProWORX™ 32 applications. Unity Quantum's onboard memory can exceed 3 MB, and there can be more than 7 MB of extended memory on PCMCIA cards for a combination of data and application storage. It can also provide more than 8 MB of data storage alone. Quinten PLC also offers a certified safe PAC version for applications up to SIL3. This includes standard and hot standby functions as well as redundant I/O.

Five IEC languages are used as standards: LD, ST, FBD, SFC, IL, Modicon LL984, facilitating customer migration.
