140CRA31200 has multiple local signaling channels. 1 green LED for RUN, 1 green/red LED for module status, 1 green/red LED for network communication status, and 1 red LED for I/O. This adapter module occupies a slot in the main (first) rack of the remote control in Quantum. The extension (second) rack in the Quinten remote I/O branch does not require an adapter.

How to use 140CRA31200

To set the location of the Ethernet remote I/O disconnect on the network, use the rotary switch in front of the 140CRA31200 before powering the module and downloading the application. The value set is applied during the power cycle. If the switch Settings are changed after the module is powered on, the Mod status LED is activated and a mismatch message is recorded in the module's diagnostic system.

Since the new values on the rotary switch are implemented on the next power cycle, it is recommended that you set these values before starting the module. Valid values range from 00 to 159.
