The 140CRA31200 is an Ethernet RIO tap adapter in the Modicon Quantum series. It has 3 ports and uses the Ethernet IP/Modbus TCP communication port protocol. How to use 140CRA31200

To set the location of Ethernet remote I/O on the network, use the rotary switch in front of the 140CRA31200 before powering the module and before downloading the application. The value set is applied during the power cycle. If the switch Settings are changed after the module is powered on, the Mod status LED is activated and a mismatch message is recorded in the module's diagnostic system.

Since the new values on the rotary switch are implemented in the next power cycle, it is recommended that you set these values before starting the module. Valid values are 00 to 159. These rotary switches can be operated on the 140CRA31200 using a small flat head screwdriver and can be configured or enabled without software.
