This unified thermal standby processor from Schneider Electric comes from their highly regarded Modicon Quantum family. We know security is your top priority, and this CPU is ready to work with the IEC 61508-certified Unity Pro XLS programming tool already installed. You can program security items without having to connect any other devices. Unity Pro XLS has two built-in programming languages, Function Block Diagram (FBD) and Ladder Diagram (LD).

With the security architecture implemented by the 140CPU67160S, you can increase system availability, effectively eliminate process downtime, and set up redundancy at every level, including power, CPU, cabling, I/O, and more.

The 140CPU67160S is special because it is a dual-slot module that holds the CPU unit function and redundant coprocessor in the same place. If something goes down, the redundant coprocessor or "backup processor" automatically takes over, giving you peace of mind, stress relief, and problem relief.

The 140CPU67160S is designed to seamlessly handle complex or difficult projects and features a detailed, intuitive display panel for your convenience. Each panel includes the following:
