The Modicon Quantum automation platform offers a complete analog input/output module designed to work with a wide range of devices. The Modicon 140ACI04000 module option processor, manufactured by Schneider Electric, provides the high availability and security required for the Quinten family of controllers for process-critical applications. Configuration and setup
At the beginning of each master controller scan, the current register and I/O status table are transferred to hot standby via a high-speed, secure fiber-optic communication link. In the event of a primary controller failure, the standby option processor controls the system through the latest I/O and registration status information to enable collision-free controlled transmission while minimizing process impact. Critical processes that cannot tolerate any control interruptions ensure fast and smooth switching, resulting in 140ACI04000 resolution.
