The IS200ERDDH1ABB is GE's main PCB component, designed for use in the Mark VI turbine management system. The Mark VI is an integral part of the Speedtronic platform designed to manage heavy-duty gas or steam durable turbines. The system provides central control of the CCM (Central control Module) connected to the terminal board. The CCM also connects to the O/I (Operator interface), allowing interface personnel to access data about the turbine using specialized software designed to be perfectly integrated into the system hardware, such as the CIMPLICITY graphics platform.
The IS200ERDDH1ABB is also a component of the third generation digital excitation platform (EX2100). The control system is designed to be integrated with the MKVI and its HMI. It works well in the LS2100 static starter. The EX2100 can be used in conjunction with individual modding applications and is integrated via serial or Ethernet Modbus.
IS200ERDDH1ABB is an IGBT excitation regulator/dynamic discharge card.
The board has many features, including:
Control redundant applications for K3 charging stations.
Control K41 degaussing station, in simplex applications,
Provides bridge feedback to help monitor DC bus and output field voltages. This feature also allows monitoring of the output parallel current, bridge temperature and IGBT gate drive status.
Full grid drive control for excitation
The remaining DC bus voltage is controlled by dynamic discharge.
The IS200ERDDH1ABB can be used for redundancy and simplex applications. However, in these different cases, the board brackets are in different positions. For example, Simplex applications anchor the circuit board in the ERBP backplane. However, in redundant applications, dual ERDD boards are often used.
