Amplification and filtering

The output of the pre-stage instrument amplifier is buffered into the secondary amplifier, which is a programmable gain amplifier PGA. The amplified signal is filtered and has relatively flat frequency response characteristics. The filter is an 8-order low-pass filter, which can be programmed to set the cut-off frequency from 10Hz to 100KHz. The secondary filter is a second-order active low-pass filter, which is used to eliminate digital interference. The lower limit cutoff frequency is set by a pull switch, and the low pass and band pass filters can be accessed or skipped by program control.
