ILX34-MBS485 is a serial communication module manufactured by ProSoft Technology. The module is compatible with the CompactLogix L1 controller and can be installed on any 1734 point I/O component. The module provides local and remote serial connectivity and provides an RS232 / RS422 / RS485 interface.

ILX34-MBS485 in particular CompactLogix L1 components used as master or slave devices. The connection parameters depend on the application you are currently using, and the module allows 3 different sizes of data blocks. Set Communication Format to Data-SINt format, and Slot ID to the actual slot position in the rack. It is recommended that the Request Packet Interval (RPI) value be greater than 50ms, and then click Apply and Confirm.

Import the AOI provided by the vendor: Add a cascade in "Main Routine", right-click the cascade, import the cascade, and navigate to the.l5x file location.
