【英文介绍】

The PROFIBUS DPV1 master module is a powerful communication interface for ControlLogix® processors. Developed under license, the module integrates patented backplane technology to enable efficient data exchange with the ControlLogix processor.

The module supports the full Profibus-DP master station specification, according to IEC 61158. Acyclic parameter data can be transmitted through the DPV1 service of Class 1 or Class 2, allowing the processor to easily communicate with slave devices that support the PROFIBUS DPV0/V1 protocol through this module.

The module is regarded as the input/output module of the system itself when it performs protocol conversion and data transfer between the PROFIBUS network and the CompactLogix/MicroLogix processor. The data transfer of the processor is asynchronous with the I/O data transfer on the PROFIBUS network.
