The RA56-ESA is a communication module manufactured by Online Development, Inc. (OLDI) that is compatible with Allen-Bradley's ControlLogix Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) family. This module is the xCoupler Enterprise transaction module for communication between Logix PLC and IBM Websphere MQ Systems. This is a single slot module that can be installed into any ControlLogix chassis and has LED status indicators such as BAT, USR, and OK. The module has two (2) universal Ethernet ports for xCoupler Workbench and enterprise device communication.
