The socket Server Control BACNet communication interface allows the Alan Bradley control platform to control PAC and BACNet devices and pass data between the network. BACNet SlotServer can be configured as a BACNet slave or master capable on BACNet master devices (such as Trey BCU, Alerton controller, etc.) or BACNet slave devices such as VSD, lighting control, AC control, etc.

The physical configuration is plugged into the standard ControlLogix rack, and the slot server module is configured as a 1756 platform read using standard RSlogix message blocks to allow efficient transfer of large data blocks. The specific configuration data is included in the configuration CSV file downloaded to the module.
