The MVI71 DF1 master-slave communication module is a PLC backplane compatible module that allows Rockwell Automation PLC I/O compatible processors to interface with devices and hosts that are easily compatible with the DF1 protocol. Devices that typically support the protocol include Rockwell Automation PLCS and power monitoring equipment, as well as several other party equipment on the third of the market.

MVI71-DFCM Master/slave communication

The module allows Rockwell Automation PLC I/O compatible processors to easily interface compatible devices with other DF1 protocols. Compatible devices include not only Rockwell Automation plc(which both support the DF1 protocol), but also a wide variety of end devices. The module has two serial ports that support the DF1 protocol, and the user can configure each port as a master or slave. The PLC processor and DF1 are asynchronous networks that use the module's internal database to exchange data between the processor and DF1.
