The MVI56E-SIE module from ProSoft Technology is a Siemens Industrial Ethernet client communication module designed specifically for ControlLogix systems. It allows ControlLogix PAC (Programmable Automation Controller) to be connected as an Ethernet client with up to 20 Siemens S7-200, S7-300, S7-400, S7-1200 and S7-1500 PLCS that are used as Ethernet servers. The module is certified to RoHS, CE and IECEx standards. The MVI56E-SIE module comes with the following components: a 5-foot Ethernet cable (in a pass-through configuration) and a ProSoft Solution CD or ProSoft Solution DVD containing the configuration tool for the module. The MVI56E-SIE module uses the ProSoft configuration Builder to manage configuration files through the graphical configuration tool, which also allows you to view module diagnostic information.
