The MVI56-WA-PWP module is a wireless network interface module for Allen-Bradley ControlLogix processors. It was manufactured by Allen-Bradley and Prosoft Technology. It helps establish a strong wireless connection between remote devices and Allen-Bradley ControlLogix processors. This module facilitates high-speed sharing of information between applications, regardless of device or network type. This network interface module supports unicast, broadcast, and multicast messaging. The network module operates on 2.4 GHz band frequencies (2400 to 2483.5 MHz). It uses direct sequence spread spectrum as the communication medium. The network interface module comes with an RS-232 serial configuration port and two RP-SMA antenna connectors. There are LED indicators on the front of the module to show the link status and data status. The RF signal indicator appears with the LED indicator.
