MVI56-PDPMV1 is a Profibus DP V1 master station communication module. The module is used in conjunction with the ControlLogix platform manufactured by encompass partner company Prosoft Technology. It is a single slot module with one (1) RS485 optical isolated PROFIBUS interface, supporting DP V1. It can connect up to 125 slave devices and is compatible with PROFIBUS Repeaters. It has an LED status indicator and one (1) debug/configuration port.

The MVI56-PDPMV1 is a ControlLogix platform compatible module. This module is a Profibus DP V1 compatible module and is used as the main device in the Profibus network.
