ProSoft MVI56-DNPSNET DNP 3.0 Ethernet Server network interface module with 1 slot and ladder logic data transfer. The module has local or remote rack types and up to 500 analog inputs.

The MVI56-DNPSNET module is the Ethernet communication module of the DNP 3.0 server. It is part of ProSoft Technology's inRAx product family. DNP is an open communication protocol designed to enable interoperability between systems used in the oil and gas, water, wastewater, and electric utility industries. The MVI56-DNPSNET module allows the ControlLogix processor to communicate with field devices that support the DNP protocol. DNP provides reliable and efficient communication and also supports time stamps and TRBE for real-time data transfer. The components included with the module include an RS232 null modem for communication between the PC and the module's CFG port, as well as an RJ45 to DB9 male adapter cable and an inRAx solution CD. The module has been approved by various agencies, including CB Safety, CE, RoHS and GOST-R agencies. Typical applications of the MVI56-DNPSNET module include petrochemical, SCADA and DCS, and power and distribution applications.
