ProSoft MVI56-DNP DNP 3.0 Master/slave network interface module with 1 slot and ladder logic data transfer. The module is available in local or remote rack types and 110-115200 baud rates.
The MVI56-DNP is a master-slave communication network interface module developed by InRAx that allows Controllogix-enabled processors to connect to field devices that support DNP (Distributed Networking Protocol). The MVI56-DNP is supported by the DNP subset Level 2 functionality of the device for efficient transfer of control commands and data. This can greatly improve the speed and quality of data transfer between connected ControlLogix processors and field devices. MVI56-DNP Data transfer from the control logic is asynchronous with DNP network operations. The MVI56-DNP interface module uses dual DNP protocol ports and is easy to use.
Communication ratings range from 110 to 115,200 baud. The MVI56-DNP has a rated voltage range of 5 to 24 volts DC. The MVI56-DNP has a rated current range of 3 to 800 mA. The MVI56-DNP is required to operate at a temperature of 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. The pre-configured drive Settings for the MVI56-DNP can be downloaded from the PC and installed on the module.
