DIN-A-MITE C Thyristor Rectifier (SCR) power controllers provide a low-cost, compact and versatile solid-state controller option for controlling electric heating. This solid-state controller has been designed and built with the quality characteristics Watlow expects. DIN rail and standard panel mounting as well as cabinet through-wall mounting versions are available. Basic functions of solid-state controllers include single-phase, three-phase/two-arm, and three-phase/three-arm, 24-600VAC operation. Current switch capabilities range from 30 to 80A, depending on the model ordered. Available in variable time base, linear voltage and current process control or VAC/VDC input contactor versions. Single-phase, phase-angle ignition and current limiting functions are also available. All configurations are model dependent and factory optional. This solid-state power controller includes a 200KA Short-circuit current rating (SCCR) and has been tested up to 480VAC to prevent arched flashes due to the need for fusing.
