Features of the ADI ADuM4224
ADI's ADuM4224, for example, is a 4A isolated half-bridge gate driver using iCoupler® technology that provides independent and isolated high and low end outputs with the following characteristics:
5000Vrms isolated
Two separate isolated channels
Work with 3.0V-5.5V power supply voltage
Compatible with low voltage systems
The ADuM4224 has the advantage of true current isolation between inputs and outputs compared to gate drivers using the high voltage level conversion method. The continuous operating voltage of each output relative to the input is up to 560 VPEAK, so the ADuM4224 supports low end switching to negative voltage. Differential voltage between high and low end up to 800 VPEAK. ADuM4224 drive circuit is shown below
