The SNAP-IDC5D offers four 2.5-28 VDC digital input channels. Each channel detects the on/off state of the DC voltage from sources such as proximity switches, buttons, or auxiliary contacts. The module features removable top-mount connectors for easy access to field wiring, as well as channel-specific leds for easy troubleshooting.

As part of the SNAP PAC system, the module is mounted on a SNAP PAC rack with a SNAP PAC brain or rack-mount controller. Analog, digital, and serial I/O modules can all be located on the same rack. This I/O unit is also ideal for PC-based control or as an intelligent remote I/O for Allen-Bradley Logix PLC systems, such as ControlLogix, MicroLogix or CompactLogix.
