The NI high-performance GPIB-SCSI/GPIB-SCSI-A controller can be used with A computer with a SCSI port to control and communicate with up to 14 GPIB devices, or with a computer with a GPIB port to control and communicate with up to seven SCSI devices. Gpib-scsi-a uses A dual buffering scheme, allowing users to perform SCSI and GPIB transfers simultaneously. In addition to A standard GPIB port, the GPIB-SCSI-A has two additional SCSI-1 ports on the rear panel.
