The SCXI-1530 (Part number: 777966-30) is a signal conditioning module designed for integrated electronic piezoelectric (IEPE) accelerometers and microphones. The module can be used in conjunction with the accelerometer conditioning module, which integrates programmable current, gain and filter configurations on each channel. The NI SCXI-1530 includes 4 input channels, 1 MΩ amplifier input impedance, AC power amplifier coupling, 4 mA +/-10% accelerometer input excitation current, over 400 KΩ current source explosive impedance, +/-10 V Maximum output voltage and 200Ω output impedance.

On the SCXI-1530 sound and vibration input module, the accelerometer is stimulated by a current source. Users can weaken the current source to quantify the noise in the frame. There is also a ground switch that can be turned on or off by the user through software to accommodate ground reference and non-reference accelerometers. The boost signal is AC coupled to a programmable gain meter intensifier. The enhancer assists the input signal by gaining 1, 10, or 100. Next, the signal passes through a programmable data transmission capacity low-pass Bessel filter to reduce aliasing. The synchronous sampling hold circuit ensures that all channels are benchmarked at similar moments.
