National Instruments SCXI-1503 Temperature input module
The NI SCXI-1503 (Part number: 779638-01) is ideal for measuring resistance sensors such as RTDS or thermistors. Each of the 16 channels on the module has a selectable amplifier with a gain of 1 or 100, and a low-pass filter with a cutoff frequency of 5 Hz to eliminate 50/60 Hz noise. The RTD module has the ability to programmatically connect each input to the ground, allowing for self-calibration of each input to minimize offset drift errors, resulting in improved accuracy. Multiple SCXI-1503 temperature input modules and other SCXI modules can be multiplexed into a single channel on a DAQ instrument. This has led to a significant increase in the number of analog input signals that can be digitized.
The SCXI 1503 module can be used with the SCXI-1306 front-mount terminal which has screw terminals for connecting signals.
