The SCXI-1320 (Part number: 777687-20) High voltage terminals are screw terminal shielded and can be connected to input connectors of multiple modules: SCXI-1121, SCXI-1120D, SCXI-1126, SCXI-1120 or SCXI-1125. The SCXI 1320 has 18 screw terminals for easy connection. A pair of screw terminals can be connected to SCXI module chassis grounding. When this terminal is used with the SCXI-1120/D, SCXI-1125, or SCXI-1126, the other eight pairs of screw terminals are used to connect the signal to the eight module inputs. However, when NI SCXI-1320 is used with SCXI-1121, four pairs of screw terminals are used for four module inputs, while another four pairs are used for module excitation outputs.

The terminal is also equipped with an onboard temperature sensor for cold-end compensation using thermocouples. NI recommends keeping SCXI enclosures away from extreme temperature differences to enable accurate cold-end compensation.

When preparing NI SCXI 1320 terminals for use, you need the following: SCXI chassis, SCXI module (SCXI-1120, SCXI-1120D, SCXI-1121, SCXI-1125, or SCXI-1126), size 1 and 2 Philips screwdrivers, wire cutters, wire insulation strippers, long nose pliers, and 1/8 inch. A flat-head screwdriver. To connect the SCXI 1320 to the front connector of the SCXI module, first link the front connector to the appropriate connector on the SCXI-1320. Then, make sure to tighten the top and bottom wing screws on the back of the junction box to lock them into place.

The SCXI-1320 has been declared discontinued by National Instruments, but Apex Waves can still purchase and repair the terminal.
