The SCXI-1315 (Part number: 777687-15) is a front-mounted terminal for the SCXI-1540 LVDT module. This combination can be easily connected to linear variable differential transformers (LVDT), rotary variable differential transformers (RVDT) and rotary transformers via screw terminals. The SCXI 1315 has a 26 10 14 AWG maximum field wire gauge. The NI SCXI-1315 terminal has 48 screw terminals, which are divided into 8 groups of 6 each. Each set of terminals corresponds to one of the eight channels on SCXI-1540.

Each LVDT channel has 6 terminals: CH+, CH-, EX+, EX-, SYNC and GND. First, CH+ (N) is the input signal from the LVDT secondary, which is the positive terminal. Second, CH- (n) is the negative terminal and is the input signal from the LVDT secondary. EX+ (n) represents the primary excitation signal of LVDT; This is a positive end.
