The SCXI-1200 is a 12-bit NI data acquisition and control module with performance similar to Lab-PC+ multi-function analog, digital, and timed I/ O boards. The module communicates with the PC through a parallel port and can work with other SCXI systems. The NI SCXI-1200 has eight single-ended analog input channels that can be configured as four differential channels.

The SCXI-1200 can be run in a single-box system to control the operation of other SCXI modules. It also digitizes the tuned analog signal. The module has three different input modes. Reference (RSE) single-ended input and non-reference (NRSE) single-ended input use eight channels. Differential (DIFF) uses four channels.
