The NI SCXI-1162HV (Part number: 776572-62H) has 32 optically isolated digital input channels organized into eight independent groups with four input lines each. The digital I/O module detects the presence of various AC or DC signals. These signals can be anything from a digital logic level signal to a 240 VAC/VDC maximum signal. The optical isolation of the SCXI-1162HV eliminates ground loop problems and isolates the host from harmful voltage.
