National Instruments SCXI-1122 isolated sensor multiplexer

The NI SCXI-1122 (Part number: 776572-22) is a 16-channel isolated sensor multiplexer module designed for signal conditioning. In addition to the 16 isolated channels, the module also has two isolated excitation channels. The module is an excellent choice for signal conditioning applications such as strain gauges, thermistors, RTDS, voltage sources, millivolt sources and thermocouples.

The module is designed to operate in two modes. In two-line scan mode, all 16 input channels are used for input. However, in four-wire scanning mode, the upper eight channels are used as detection leads, while the lower eight channels are configured and used as current output channels. The NI SCXI-1122 can be used with NI Lab-PC+, MIO-16 and SCXI-1200 board cards. For single-channel reading, users can also use the PC-LPM-16 board with the SCXI-1122.

The NI SCXI-1122 has a 50-pin male back joint and a 48-pin female front joint. The module's integrated amplifier operates at 1 GΩ input impedance during normal power-on and 100 kΩ input impedance during power outage. In terms of its dynamic characteristics, this model has a 4 Hz (-10 dB) or 4 kHz software selectable bandwidth. The module features a 3-pole RC integrated filter designed to operate at a 4 Hz (-10 dB) cutoff frequency and a 4 Hz bandwidth of 60 dB NMR. In addition, the module has 2 output channels.
