The NI SCXI-1112 thermocouple input module is designed for high precision thermocouple measurement. The module has 8 differential analog input channels and 8 cold-end sensor channels. The module integrates an open-circuit thermocouple detection circuit in each input channel.
National Instruments SCXI-1112 thermocouple input module
NI SCXI-1112 (Part number: 776572-12) is a directly connected thermocouple amplifier module. The module has eight channels designed to amplify and filter the signal generated by the thermocouple. Each of the eight channels has a 3-pole low-pass filter with a cutoff frequency of 2 Hz, capable of suppressing 60 Hz noise. In the NI SCXI-1112, each channel also has a 100 fixed-gain amplifier. With this module, users can multiplex the input of the SCXI-1112 into a single output to drive a single DAQ device channel.
The module has an onboard voltage reference. Therefore, it can be easily calibrated and automatically zeroed by the user.
