The NI PCI-6030E is a versatile DIO, AI, AO, and TIO data acquisition (DAQ) card for PCI computers with eight digital I/ O lines, two 16-bit analog outputs, and multiple signal conditioning options. The model offers 16 single-ended or 8 differential analog inputs in the input range of ±0.1 to ±10V with a resolution of 16 bits. This model can generate output at a speed of 100 kS/s in the ±10 V range through its two analog outputs. For TTL-compatible DIO, eight lines are also provided.

The NI PCI-6030E does not require any DIP switches, potentiometers, or jumpers, so it can be easily configured with software. A 68-pin male SCSI-II connector is provided on this DAQ for all I/O connections. NI PCI-6030E support from AI <0... 15> or PFI0 simulation triggers. This model is equipped with a successive approximation analog-to-digital converter ADC and a dual-buffered digital-to-analog converter (DAC) at its analog output.

In terms of its analog output characteristics, the PCI-6030E is equipped with a 2048 sample size FIFO buffer that can transmit data in three modes: interrupt, programming I/O, and DMA mode. Available DMA modes include decentralized collection, demand transfer, and single transfer. The versatile DAQ supports DC input coupling with a maximum allowable voltage of ground ±11 V per input. The overvoltage protection is set to trigger a trip of ±25 V in the power-on state and ±15 V in the power-off state.
