The PCI-DAS1200 multi-function analog and digital I/O board sets a new standard for low-cost, high-speed data acquisition boards on the PCI bus. The PCI-DAS1200 offers 16 single-ended or eight differential 12-bit analog inputs with sampling rates up to 330 KHz, two 12-bit analog outputs, and 24-bit digital I/O for performance equal to or better than boards that cost 50 percent more.

On the software side, the capabilities of the PCI-1200 board can be fully utilized by using NI's NI-DAQ. The software is equipped with a comprehensive library of features that users can invoke from ADE, enabling users to take advantage of all the capabilities of the multifunctional DAQ. The PCI-1200 is fully software-configured to automatically assign resources such as interrupt levels and base memory addresses. Therefore, you do not need to perform any configuration steps after booting the system.

After software level reset or power-on, the PCI-1200 DAQ board is set to a bipolar ±5 V analog input range and a bipolar ±5 V analog output range. Two analog output voltage channels are provided, allowing users to configure each analog output individually. As a result, users are able to configure each of the PCI-1200's two AO output channels as a bipolar or unipolar output.

The PCI-1200 DAQ has a power consumption of 425 mA at +5 VDC. The module is built with a slave bus interface and has a physical dimension of 17.45 x 10.56 cm (6.87 x 4.16 in).
