The PCI-Dio-32HS, also known as PCI 6533 (Part number: 777314-01), is a fully jump-free, switchless digital I/O device from National Instruments. This model is designed for CompactPCI or PXI chassis and PCI cabling. The PCI DIO-32HS uses NI's proprietary MITE PCI interface to provide bus master station operation, burst PCI transport, and a high-speed DMA (Direct Memory Access) controller.

The digital I/ O device is equipped with a NI DAQ-DIO chip. National Instruments' DAQ-DIO chips are equipped with handshakes, pattern generation, and two separate digital input and digital output channels. Each channel offers optional data path widths, 16-bit and 32-bit counters, handshake controller with six timing protocols, 24 mA output, star/stop trigger detection, and more.
