The PXIe-8861 is an embedded controller based on a high-performance Intel Xeon E3-1515 processor for PXI high-speed systems. It provides computing and peripheral IO for the Modular Instrument Platform (PXI).

This controller comes with a wealth of interfaces, including two Thunderbolt 3.0 ports, two Display ports, two USB 3.0 and four USB 4 ports, two Ethernet ports (one of which is enabled for 1588), and serial and GPIB ports.
