The Emerson/MOTOROLA MVME147S is a dual-height VME module that is best suited for 32-bit VMEbus systems with P1 and P2 backplanes. The module has large onboard shared RAM, serial port, and Centronics printer port. The module also provides a SCSI bus controller with DMA, floating point coprocessor, tick timer, watchdog timer and clock/calendar with spare batteries, 2KB static RAM with spare batteries, four ROM slots and A32/D32 VMEbus interface with system controller function.

The MVME147S can be run as part of a VMEbus system with other VME modules such as RAM modules, CPU modules, graphics modules, and analog I/O modules.
