The Foxboro I/A series network controllers and interface modules are designed for use in a variety of environments. The LCC-100 is the foundation of the family and provides a system or operator with an interface to communicate with any LONWORKS device. It also provides a highly integrated solution for connecting DMS systems to devices on the LONWORKS subnet. The LNC-100 can connect to other area controller point-to-point networks using optional Ethernet or Echelon ® Network interface modules (NIM) to provide system point expansion capacity for facilities of any size in a fully modular manner. The two RS-232 device ports of the LNC 100 allow for graphical user interface connectivity, as well as remote access via an auto-dial/auto-answer modem.
