The P0400YC thermocouple/Medium voltage Input module, A product of the Foxboro brand, is a communication interface module that provides a string interface between an I/A Series system and a two-port field I/O device.
The main function of the P0400YC thermocouple/medium voltage input module is redundancy. The P0400YC thermocouple/medium voltage input module communicates with the two-port device. Each of the four ports can be configured separately by software as RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485, supporting the communication interface standard of RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485.
