The FBM231 quad-Serial Port Redundant Field Device System Integration module is a product under the Foxboro brand.

A serial interface system is provided between the Evo, and a pair of FBM231 modules are combined to provide field bus module (FBM) level redundancy to the two terminal components for field wiring. In this configuration, one FBM231 is the Master and the other is the Tracker module.

The FBM231, A Foxboro brand product, is a communication interface module that provides a string interface between an I/A Series system and a two-port field I/O device.
