This device cannot be removed or inserted while the system is powered on. The bus field power supply must not be connected to a power supply that generates or contains more than 30 VDC.

Before disassembling or connecting the device, the device must first be supplied with a field power supply at the field terminal or via the I/O carrier as the bus.
