The Allen-Bradley 1785-ME64 is a PLC 5 storage device module. The 1785-ME64 has a memory size of 64K words. The maximum I/O chassis universal remote control for this module is 32 per I/O link. The module has a maximum analog I/O count of 3072. The backplane current of the module is 2.5 A (5V DC). Allen-Bradley 1785-ME64 can be used as a backup module. The module comes with a control coprocessor expansion port. Remember to turn off the power before removing or inserting this module. If the module is removed or installed with the power on, an arc may occur, and this arc may cause injury and excessive wear to the contacts on the module and its pairing connectors.
