The 1762-IF2OF2 is an expansion module that works with Allen-Bradley's MicroLogix 1100, 1200, and 1400 programmable Logix controllers (PLCS). The module is a combined analog I/O module that integrates a total of four (4) analog channels consisting of two (2) inputs and two (2) outputs, all of which can be configured as voltage or current signals.
The input channel of the module supports differential input, while the output is single-ended output. Compatible signals for both input and output are 4 to 20 mA, while voltage inputs are 0 to 10V. The full range of inputs and outputs is 0 to 10.5Vdc and 0 to 21 mA. With 12-bit resolution. Repeatability was ±0.12%.
The module is mounted next to the MicroLogix 1100/1200/1400 compact base. Connect the supplied ribbon cables to adjacent cables to create a modular bus to provide module interconnection and bus voltage distribution. It can be mounted on the DIN rail along the main controller base or directly on the mounting plate. Both installation methods require proper grounding to eliminate and reduce noise that can affect the operation of the equipment.
