The Allen-Bradley compact I/O module Part number 1769-OF4CI is an analog output module with embedded four (4) differential, independently isolated channels. The module has 0-20mA and 4-20 mA output current signals with full analog current ranges of 0-21 mA and 3.2-21 mA, respectively. The module belongs to the 1769 Compact I/O system and is designed to be compatible with MicroLogix 1500 and CompactLogix controllers. The module can also be installed in a remote I/O chassis using a DeviceNet communication adapter with part number 1769-ADN or an Ethernet communication adapter with part number 1769-AENTR.
The analog output module is primarily used to drive the final control element (FCE) or actuator to achieve multiple control points. Available data formats include raw/scale data, engineering units, PID scaling, and percentage full scale. Configurable channel parameters include output range selection, module suppression, module description, and slot assignment.
