The Allen-Bradley 1756-OB16IEFS is a ControlLogix DC digital module with electronic protection and fast output. It has 16 timing, high-speed, individually isolated, electronically fusing outputs. This is the only module that can use motion shaft output CAM (MAOC) instructions in a remote case. It is also the only function that can receive output data in this function. It is a CIP Sync slave device that uses CIP Sync for scheduling and time stamping. The pulse width modulation (PWM) cycle time of the module is a minimum of 1 ms/ a maximum of 1 hour, the PWM on-time is a minimum of 200 μs/ a maximum of 1 hour, and the PWM on-time accuracy is +/ -20 μs.




The following can be configured in the module: the state in failure mode (hold last, on or off), the duration of failure mode (1, 2, 5, 10 seconds, forever), the final state after failure mode duration (on or off), and the state in program mode (Hold last, on or off). By default, all options have an "Off" option except for the failure mode duration, which defaults to "Permanent."
