The 2198-S130-ERS4is a Kinetix 5700 digital servo drive. The servo motor controller mainly has 240V/480V nominal power supply voltage; The output power is 22.5 kW @ 240 V input and 44.9 kW at 480 V input. The servo driver has a continuous output current of 91.9A and a peak output current of 183.8A. The drive comes with two (2) Ethernet ports and is primarily used for integrated motion via Ethernet I/P. It is compatible with controllers, in particular with Logix automation platforms such as ControlLogix controllers, GuardLogix controllers, CompactLogix controllers or Compact GuardLogix controllers, especially those with integrated motion support.

The driver's dual Ethernet I/P ports support both linear and device-level ring topologies. Linear is typically used for simplex, non-redundant networks, while DLR is used for elastic and redundant or fault-tolerant networks, thereby improving network availability. The transfer speed supported is 10/100 Mbps.

The 2198-S130-ERS4 supports speed bandwidths of 400 Hz (speed) and 1000 Hz (current loop), as well as a pulse width modulation (PWM) frequency of 4 kHz.
