The 1756-MVID module is a ControlLogix family of multi-vendor interface modules designed and produced by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. This Bulletin 1756 assembly is approved for use in hazardous locations and meets the requirements for safe operation in industrial environments. The product is part of the A Series, which offers a simple yet robust design that is ideal for use in such conditions. Chassis based components such as the 1756-MVID module provide additional functionality, which together with the communication module, amplifier, power supply, and input/output module form a complete system. The 1756-MVID comes with three serial adapter cables, installation instructions, and a CD ROM with development tools, among other components.
