 The Allen-Bradley 1756-IV16 is a digital source I/O module. The input module has 16 inputs available, with a set of 8 points. It is compatible with the ControlLogix 1756 case and requires a detachable terminal housing (RTB), which can be 1756-TBNH or 1756-TBSH, before it can be connected to the case. This module uses only the input data format. The 1756-IV16 module operates in a voltage range of 10 to 30 volts DC, with a 12/24 volt DC supply voltage category. It also has a nominal input voltage of 24 volts DC. It has a total backplane power of 0.61 watts and a maximum inrush current of 250 mA. The 1756-IV16 has a maximum input impedance of 3.2 kΩ at 30 volts DC, a maximum power consumption of 5.1 watts at 60 degrees Celsius, and a heat dissipation of 18.47 BTU/ hour.
